Happy Africa Day
Today, the 25th of May, we celebrate Pan Africanism, African solidarity and Unity in diversity and honour of an organization that has dedicated itself to securing Africa’s rightful place on the world stage to achieve a better life for all the peoples of Africa. The Institute joins the rest of the African Continent in celebrating Africa Day and take this opportunity to convey the best wishes to all Africans around the world.
Africa is on the march towards a more prosperous future in which all its citizens, young, old, male, female, rural, urban, of all creeds and backgrounds are empowered to realize their full potential, live with satisfaction and pride about their continent. Indeed, this is a progressive march towards the “Africa we want” as envisioned in Agenda 2063.
On this day, we take a positive reflection and an affirmation of the progresses and challenges we have encountered as a continent and to renew our pledge to work together for the renaissance and renewal of the African continent and the Developing World. We also take a reflection on the strengths and weaknesses and those unfulfilled dreams of creating a corruption free and clean Africa.
Let us all show similar conviction and sense of purpose today in working to improve the wellbeing and opportunities for all Africans.
Long Live Mama Africa!
